I decided to try juicing after I read several books on autoimmune disease and got more into wellness and yoga. I always wanted something nourishing after yoga, and did not have the desire to eat an egg at school (people always point out the smell), nor did I desire something heavy. I wanted a quick and satisfying snack. I began to research juicers.
Anyone who knows me, knows it’s right within my purview to go out and buy a Vitamix regardless if juicing was to become a habit or not. I like THINGS. Nice THINGS. Anyway, I put myself in check this time. I read a great review on the Hamilton Beach Juicer, great for a newbie. There’s an amazing deal on Amazon that won’t break the bank. There’s always time for the Vitamix, right? Cut to the present, and I’m in love with the juicer. I follow several practitioners in regards to what I blend in my juice. Kale, Spinach, Cucumber, Apple, Carrot, Lemon, Ginger are my usual go-tos, even if I stop @cleanjuice.com. Sometimes when I need a little more, I’ll enjoy Coconut Milk (unsweetened), almond butter, ice and vanilla stevia smoothie. Protein can take the edge off.
My daughter, Cameron and I have been experimenting with Water Infusion. Check out my Pinterest for some cool ideas on how to infuse. There’s all kinds of remedies out there. Honestly, infused water helped me break my horrible diet ice tea habit.
